I have FINALLY put together our travel diary for our road trip around the American South, places we visited include:

Houston, TX
Avery Island, LA
New Orleans, LA
Bessemer, AL
Nashville, TN
Memphis, TN
Hot Springs, AR
Dallas, TX
Austin, TX

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families who were affected by storm Harvey. I hope everyone who was affected is safe and recovering well. We were extremely lucky to have went the time that we did as we were planning to be there when the storm hit, it is a frightening thing for anyone to go through.

Don't forget you can still donate to the Red Cross, proceeds go to those who were affected

I hope you enjoy❤️ (Details in the description box)

Under £6

Have you ever seen those £6 bikinis on Amazon or ebay and wondered if they were worth buying or whether they would fall apart the second you got in the water? Well I bought 2! One from amazon and one from ebay, both under £6. They were perfect! The sizes ran a little small, so I would defiantly size up but the pictures looked like the bikinis and the quality wasn't all that bad either. For the price, they were worth every penny. I can't find the exact print I got, but I found some super cute ones from amazon all for around the same price

1. Banana leaf bikini £3.80
2. Palm tree bikini £7.38
3. Pineapple bikini (and reversible!) £3.56
4. Rose bikini £3.76

Basics

Everyone needs basics to base there wardrobe around, I want to show you what basics I base my wardrobe around!

1. A tote (or any bag really) to throw all your daily needs it, this free people one is faux leather AND reversible!
2. A fedora, if you are a hat lover like me, you will already have one of these in every colour possible (I'm currently after a bottle green one for the winter) but if you are just starting out, then I suggest a black one, they go with everything and tie an outfit together perfectly whilst giving it them boho vibes
3. A western tip belt, I love these ones from Free People cause you can get them in so many different colours and textures. Add a pop of colour to any outfit with this pink suede one
4. A fringe jacket, get them festival vibes all year round with a fringe jacket. Mine if a vintage one of my mommas but this faux suede one from ASOS is the perfect jacket for your wardrobe  (and its on sale!)
5. A pair of Levi jeans! No matter what your style, everyone needs a pair of these. I would recommend 501s but these 517s are just as good
6. Converse or Vans, everyone needs these, there so easy to throw on and they go with everything

Better late than no-chella

So, Coachella has sadly passed us once again and we have to wait a whole year before it comes around again. Although it came and passed like a whirlwind, it left behind many, many, many looks and I'm here today to show you some of my faves.
Of course, we have the queen of Coachella herself, Vanessa Hudgens. Her personalized hat was one of my faves (I'm a sucker for anything personalized). She kills the Coachella style every year and this year was no different, after showing her Coachella looks, she set my whole wardrobe for the rest of the year.
Momma bear to be - Paola Alberdi. I mean, she was almost 8 months pregnant and still running around the desert. The last few years Paolas style has killed it, but this year has to be her best, pregnant and looking better than most at the festival. She's brilliantly effortless and is completely bohemian chic, which shows through in a lot of her everyday style too. Paola Alberdi, I applaud you. Congratulations on #babyblank and good luck to both you and Hector for the future!
Julie Sariñana, Sincerely jules. I don't think I even have to say anything, her style speaks for itself. Her look (Pictured above) is probably my favourite look of the festival. Effortlessly bohemian and everything I love about bohemian style, the mix of fabrics, pastels, booties and mini bags. Perfect.
For last, but definitely not least. Victoria Secret model, Jasmine Tookes. Although not all of her everyday style is my cup of tea, her Coachella looks killed it. Her floral dress (not pictured) for the Revolve party was so pretty but the look pictured above was my favourite of hers, the perfect desert chic. In my opinion, underwear as outta wear has definitely been worn to death, but Jasmine did it in a different way which gave a bit back to the over worn style.

TEXAS (AND A FEW OTHER PLACES)

We're now into the end of April and vacation is growing closer and closer, I have bought a tone of new clothes and I'm ready to go! I usually bring around half the amount of outfits I need (in this case 16 day - 7 outfits) and buy the rest there. But we're still unsure on what we actually want to do when we get there!

Out full schedule is as follows:
Flight > Houston (1 Night)
Houston > New Orleans (3 Nights)
New Orleans > Bessemer (1 Night)
Bessemer > Nashville (3 Nights)
Nashville > Memphis (2 Nights)
Memphis > Hot Springs (1 Night)
Hot springs > Dallas(2 Nights)
Dallas > Austin (3 Nights)
Austin > Houston (1Night)
Houston > Flight

I know we could of flew out from Austin on our way home, but price wise, it was better to go from Houston.  Are there any suggestions you have for us? Where are the best places to go and what are the best things to see? We're not into touristy stuff, I mean we will probably see a lot of touristy things, but we like to experience each place as if it were our home town, we like to have the full feel to what each town is actually like.

Let me know what you think we should do!

AIRBNB

Yesterday we finally booked all our hotels we will be staying at when we visit The American South, but one of the problems we had were the prices. We budgeted to $100 a night, which worked so well for most places, in fact most places were under. Until we got to Nashville and Austin, and most of the hotels, on average were $400 a night!!
So we decided to look at Airbnb, which turned out to be the best idea ever. We had a discount code that got us $20 off our first stay and ended up only being over budget by $10, which is amazing considering most places were $400 a night. I will be posting the full itinerary of each place we are going and what we will be doing when we get there soon, so keep a look out!

If you would like $20 of your first stay at an Airbnb, click the here, follow the link and enjoy your stay

Spotify playlist

I love Spotify, its the perfect place to find every genre and decade you could imagine. I probably have the weirdest taste in music you could ever think of, I pretty much like at least one song of every genre there is (trust me, you'll see this when you hear my playlist) but my all time favourite music is anything before the 2000s.
This playlist is around 2 years in the making, but the bulk of it was put together when we went on our USA road trip last year and will probably be used this year with whatever adventure we plan.

I hope you enjoy my weird yet wonderful playlist. Let me know what you think, and what some of your favourite songs are. You never know, you might just see one of your favourites pop up on my Spotify.
